Stem cells are important as they are having great potential in the medical field .Stem cells can regerate and repair the damge tissue and for the same reason were being used from a longer period of time for bone marrow transplantation but now because of medical advancement in this field and various clinical trials these cells are being used for the treatment of various blood related and organ related diseases which comprises of leukemia,lymphoma,cancer,diabetes,hearing loss,vision loss etc.

Hi Ankita,
As per your query ,For the teeth related issues, Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSC's) are being used .Nowadays, milk teeth of a babies are being preserved in various centers, out which therapist extract the MSC's and used in either in-vitro or in-vivo conditions for growing the teeth again.
